It Just Doesn’t Get Much Cuter Than This…

I have been photographing this adorable family for years and I just can not believe how stinkin’ cute little baby O and his big sister M are!  Their mom wanted to focus on O for this session since he is in the fleeting phase between babyhood and toddlerhood.  She wanted me to capture him as a baby before we blink and he’s all grown up!

How can you not fall completely in love with a face like this?:

And this:

It’s incredible because within the session there are images of little O looking like the cute baby that he is, like this one:

and then other images where you can really see the toddler within, just on the verge of making his debut:

Of course we needed to take a few of big sister M too, who can resist this face:

And a few of the two of them together.  O just adores his big sister M.  You can tell they’re going to be great pals growing up.

More sessions coming soon!  Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Forward

Daylight savings time is great, I love the extra hour of playtime, especially when we have incredible weather like we have here on the coast the last few days.  But i can’t help but thinking it’s too bad we couldn’t spring forward to about 4 weeks from now.  I am SO ready for baby boy to come, he just can’t get here soon enough.  Some people love being pregnant, sadly i am not one of them.  I miss my wine, my caffeine, and my skinny(er) jeans.

I am not taking on any portraits or weddings until after he arrives because frankly, I can’t move fast enough to chase kids and I don’t have the stamina for an 8 – 12 hour wedding!  So, i have been spending lots of quality time with my 2 girls before their new bro gets here. As for photography I’ve been focusing on my fine art, which i am really happy with.  I’ve also started printing on bamboo and metal which I think just looks so incredible (more on that later).  I’ve been donating to a few charity auctions, and I’ve also been mulling over the idea of opening a studio here on the coastside.  When baby boy DOES arrive and things return to normal (ha)  I will be ready to hit the ground running!

Here are a couple of images from a recent day trip to Russian River wine country with friends.  I took them with my new Lensbaby which I’m having a great time playing with:

Until next time — Happy Spring!!!

XOXOXO
